IF NOTHING HAPPENS

This EP is a time capsule of our feelings as a band over the past year or so - a mix of self-doubt and industry comparison countered with an unshakeable belief in Carver Commodore and the things we make. Maybe you’ve felt it too - you look around and everyone seems to be further along than you are no matter how much work you put in or what formula you follow and it sends your emotions spiraling. Then you realize that you are doing what you believe you were made to do and you’re too far in to turn back now. It can feel like you’re screaming into the void as you throw the most honest expression of yourself out there and hope it sticks. Then, as you complete the cycle, you finally reach the point of realizing that you will continue to do what you feel like you were made to do no matter what. And if the only thing that comes out of it is that thing itself, you’ll be fine.
